Peer Mentoring is Beginning! Blog Post #3
Our Peer Mentoring Program will begin tomorrow. I am excited for all of you to experience this wonderful learning opportunity. Words cannot express my passion for mentoring. I truly hope all of you will enjoy it as well.
Blog Post #3 is all about creating a Force Field Analysis. You received a handout on this assignment. First, identify 6-8 reasons why you are conducting this project. You were then asked to identify 8-10 barriers that would cause issues for your planning. Next, cross out the barriers that you can't control. Pick 3-4 to focus on and write about how you can control these issues and your plans to ensure you will accomplish your goals.

OPPORTUNITY!
Who is still looking for a Leadership Project to lead and/or participate in?
I had a teacher contact me from our neighboring elementary school looking for some high school students interested in helping with his chess club after school. The kids are ages 4th-6th Grade and many of them are just learning or want to learn how to play chess.
It's once a week from 3-5 p.m. in this teacher's room. I'll fill you in on more details soon. You can stop in my room to find out more about this amazing opportunity. In fact, if you take this project on (the leader), I will allow you to use it as one of your projects all year long. BONUS!
